RUMBLING THUNDER was featured in the 2007 Coeur d'Alene Auction.
"While I was working on this painting, our three year old neighbor girl came into my studio and asked me why I painted horses. It got me to thinking about it. I have always drawn and painted horses for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I loved riding and being outside in the open country. My grandmother, a ranch woman, would talk to me about her love of horses and how she felt so free from everything when she rode. In these times when more and more of our time and freedoms are disappearing from our lives, this symbol becomes even more precious to me."
